Opis ćwiczeńDesigning water and wastewater treatment technologies in the systems using membrane processes. Determination of the operating parameters of membrane filtration.
Opis wykładówMembrane techniques of the separation. Types and characteristics of membrane processes. Types of membranes. Fouling and scaling. The use of microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis in environmental engineering: water and wastewater desalination, removal of suspended and soluble organic compounds, removal of micropollutants (pesticides, PAHs, endocrine active substances) from wastewater; gas purification. Hybrid processes. Membrane bioreactors.
